Spicegro (Pty) Ltd takes cognizance of the importance of protecting your personal information and as such subscribes to the principles, outlined in Section 51 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 2002, that governs your right to privacy of your personally identifiable information, as well as the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA), which gives effect to the constitutional right to data privacy in terms of Section 14 of the Bill of Rights of the Constitution.
POPIA deals with your constitutional right to privacy and the right to access of information. This includes how and why we collect, process, share, store and access information.
This Privacy policy relates to the collection and use of personal information you may supply to us through your use of any of our service channels and such policy therefore governs the manner in which your personal information will be dealt with.

Spicegro defines personal information as all information specific to yourself, that is provided to us via our website or any other channel. This includes but is not limited to personal information that is provided to us in the course of our business, while requesting information about our services and products, obtaining a quotation for our services and products, purchasing our services or products via online communication, and asking questions via email or during any other requests.

Spicegro does not and will not sell or provide personal information to third parties for independent use. We may, however, share personal information with our suppliers and business partners if that information is required to provide the product or service you have requested. However, our suppliers and business partners will be required to adhere to using your information only as directed by Spicegro.
If required to deliver our services, which includes the supply and delivery of spices, herbs, seasonings, sprinkles, sauces and other food products, as well as packaging solutions, we will share your personal information with other service providers, partners, and suppliers. This information strictly relates to your request. At all times, they will be required to adhere to our policies.

Where our website may contain links to third-party websites; if you follow these links, you will exit our website and the use of these websites will be subject to the relevant platform owners’ own privacy notices.
Where you respond to communication we post on third-party platforms, such as Facebook, Google and Instagram, such Personal Information may be shared with those third-party platforms for the purposes of providing you with targeted advertising via the relevant third-party platform based on your provided profile/interests. While these third-party websites are selected with care, Spicegro cannot accept liability for the use of your Personal Data by these organisations.
10. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”).
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a child under the age of 18 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
